Education & Training
Dr. Li earned her medical degree from the prestigious Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in Shanghai, China. Following her relocation to the United States, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Clinical Excellence & Patient Success
Throughout her career, Dr. Li has built a reputation for accurate early diagnostic interventions in complex cases. She has saved numerous lives through the early detection and coordinated specialist care of aggressive malignancies—including breast, colon, and ovarian cancers, as well as rare conditions such as Ewing Sarcoma and smooth muscle leiomyosarcoma. Her rapid, decisive interventions have also prevented critical complications in cases of rapid atrial flutter, pulmonary embolisms, and acute myocardial infarctions.
Embracing the philosophy that “love is the best medicine in the world,” Dr. Li focuses heavily on holistic disease management. Her dedicated counseling in diabetes and metabolic health has led to remarkable patient transformations, including severe chronic case resolutions featuring massive, life-altering weight loss and the normalization of critical HbA1c levels.
Practice Growth, Innovation & Visionary Leadership
Under Dr. Li’s leadership, Everest Medical Group has evolved from a local clinic into a major regional healthcare infrastructure system. Dr. Li manages a diverse clinical portfolio that spans primary care, urgent care, specialized medical spa treatments, and ambulatory surgical environments:
Facility Expansion: From the foundational Havertown site opened in 2006, she has spearheaded a multi-location expansion featuring expansive, state-of-the-art facilities in Upper Darby (2016), Chester (2020), Northeast Philadelphia (2022), Sharswood Philadelphia (2023), and a specialized MedSpa and Ambulatory Surgical Center in Wayne (2025).
Infrastructure & Job Creation: Driven by a commitment to regional infrastructure development, Dr. Li secured a competitive $4.5 million Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grant from the state to construct the upcoming Silvercare Subacute Care facility in Chester City. Slated to open in late 2026, this 24-hour nursing and rehabilitation center will bring comprehensive subacute care and generate more than 200 local jobs and training opportunities to an underserved area.
Technological Integration: Committed to staying on the cutting edge of modern medicine, Dr. Li is currently leading initiatives to implement advanced provider-facing artificial intelligence (AI) diagnostic tools and documentation workflows to streamline operations and maximize direct face-to-face patient time.

Dr. Li’s clinical expertise, commercial stewardship, and impact on the regional economy have earned prestigious accolades, including:
