Massage Therapy

Massage uses the power of human touch to help you relax and support a variety of internal body functions. Therapeutic massage is performed by a licensed massage therapist (LMT) with training in manual manipulation of soft tissue, including muscles, connective tissue, and skin. A massage therapist uses a variety of techniques to release tight muscles, enhance circulation, elongate connective tissue and promote overall wellness.

We offer traditional Chinese massage known as Tui Na. During this method of massage, the therapist will push, stretch, knead the muscles as well as apply acupressure trigger points on the body to help relieve pain. Studies show Massage Therapy helps to increase blood flow to the connective tissue and break down adhesive tissue. It can also lower blood pressure, reduce stress, improve mood and sleep. It can enhance the healing of musculoskeletal injury and helps to support healthy immune system function.
